"For me, this was a “when you know, you know” bottle. I’ve been tasting many, many Armagnacs, hoping to find one to bottle for the group, and this is an exquisite example of Pellehaut. The nose hits you immediately with caramel dipped tropical fruit. The palate opens with some of that same fruit, which transitions into raisins and then spicy notes. The finish is dry and spicy with a light sweetness. This is really wonderful stuff and it was an easy pick for me."
