Armagnac Domaine du Cardinat, Vintage 1994

Domaine du Cardinat is an excellent, under-the-radar domaine in Bas Armagnac run by Patricia and Malkeet Singh. They're doing stellar work in both the cellars and the vineyards — Patricia spent time at pioneering natural winemaker Marcel Lapierre in Beaujolais, before taking over the family distillery from her father Camille in 2010.

We visited with them during a recent trip to France and have selected a number of casks that we’re going to release throughout the year, starting with this one distilled by Patricia's father in 1994.
